Erica Allison founded Formation PR & Brand in 2007 with a vision to strategically connect organizations to their audiences through the power of storytelling. Under her leadership, the agency has grown into a trusted partner for foundations, nonprofits, community colleges, healthcare providers and regional development organizations nationwide.
Known for her direct and strategic approach, Erica is a sought-after communications strategist and crisis communications expert. She has guided clients through critical moments, led high-impact campaigns and built enduring brands rooted in purpose and clarity. Long-standing clients include Dogwood Health Trust, The Duke Endowment, National Association of Development Organizations, UNC Health Pardee and Blue Ridge Community College.
Erica holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.A. from Appalachian State University.
When she’s not leading her team of creatives and strategic thinkers, Erica can be found in her backyard bird oasis, hiking on a trail, cooking up something new in her kitchen, listening to live music or spending time with the people she loves.
